The EmStar tutorials are categorized into several "Trails", or sequences of related tutorials. Each sequence is intended to take the user through a series of useful lessons.
Before you start, you will need to download, configure, and build EmStar. See our Installation Guide for step-by-step installation instructions, and troubleshooting advice.
Once you have a working EmStar installation, you should be ready to start playing with it:

Getting Started Running EmStar Software. This seqeuence of tutorials leads the user through running simple, pre-exsiting EmStar modules, and running them both as real nodes and in simulation.

Debugging Techniques in EmStar. Debugging support, for embedded, distributed, disconnected systems, is one of the most powerful features of EmStar. This sequence of tutorials leads the user through the process of debugging an EmStar system, and demonstrates the many tools at the developer's disposal.

Example Code and Common Cases. In this tutorial, we present annotated and explained snippets of commonly used EmStar code. If you're wondering "How do I do X?" try looking here for more information.
