  4 This directory is deprecated.  Originally, some of our cross-compilers
  5 did not have glib in their lib directories, and were missing the headers
  6 as well.  To get around this we added these files here.  However, effort
  7 should be made to make sure that future cross-compiler tools include 
  8 glib, so that it can be referenced in a more standard way, ideally using
  9 pkg-config.
