NOTE: Changed sympathy metrics packet structure on the mote. So any deployment wiht sympathy code on the mote must recompile mote code if they are uploading new sink code that includes sympathy.  Changed confidence metrics: using liveness metrics and congestion. Also changed confidence end-to-end detection algorithm.

Added instrumentation for mintRoute. This involved:
   - separating routing-specific code out from sympathy on the sink side
   - getting MintRoute to work (and writing wrapper code for it)
   - instrumenting MintRoute code on the mote side.

Added sink-side wrapper code for surge.

 Changed interface for reporting metrics - now we use a Smetrics_t struct
         instead of just randombly packing data into the packet.

Added a battery component to sympathy so it will track battery voltages,
when reported from other components.

Fixed up simple_status.c so that it now includes misc_init/emrun_init
        stuff. This seems important for people who (like me) are just
        blindly copying the program over, and forget to add that stuff.

Added misc_init() stuff to mail component.

Added a function to status_client - so that you can just - with one
line - write a command to a status-device (status_client_write()).
