Added instrumentation for mintRoute. This involved:
- separating routing-specific code out from sympathy on the sink side
- getting MintRoute to work (and writing wrapper code for it)
- instrumenting MintRoute code on the mote side.
Added sink-side wrapper code for surge.
Changed interface for reporting metrics - now we use a Smetrics_t struct
instead of just randombly packing data into the packet.

Added a battery component to sympathy so it will track battery voltages,
when reported from other components.
Fixed up simple_status.c so that it now includes misc_init/emrun_init
stuff. This seems important for people who (like me) are just
blindly copying the program over, and forget to add that stuff.
Added misc_init() stuff to mail component.
Added a function to status_client - so that you can just - with one
line - write a command to a status-device (status_client_write()).

Documentation for sympathy.
Need to link this off TOC.
This form allows you to request diffs between any two revisions of
a file. You may select a symbolic revision name using the selection
box or you may type in a numeric name using the type-in text box.
