Welcome to Cyclops firmware
****************************************************
for download instructions please take a look at here:

****************************************************
Note1: When you receive cyclops the CPLD is already programmed.
Note2: Programming Cyclops is exactly like programming a Mote
except that the target is now cyclops. In our case some
programs run on the host Mote and some on Cyclops.
Note3: Cyclops programming board is the same as Mote programming
board. We need one additional cable that connects the
programmer to Cyclops. Please note that the programmer
cable is not symetric so one side should be connected
to cyclops and the other side to the Mote.
1- To capture images from the cyclops you can program cyclops
with captureTest program. This program captures images continously
and dumps them to a host PC. on the PC side you can run the matlab
codes that resides in /tools/serialDump/matlab. Currently the
devices are set in 19200Kbps.
you can simply say:
make cyclops install
or:
MIB510=/dev/ttyS0 make cyclops install
This depends on the type of programmer board you use.
2- To capture images via a through a wireless Mote relay you can
program the cyclops with captureRadioTest. you should then attach
it to a Mote that is programmed with MoteRelay (remember you should
program Mote for target mica2) . Then you need another Mote that is
programmed with GenericBase and attached to the PC. On PC you use
the same serial tools.
3- Basic test is an application that toggle 4 Cyclops LEDs continously.
